I’m excited to start a new weekly series called Monday Mindset—a space to challenge the way we think, shift our perspectives, and start the week with fresh insight. Each Monday, I’ll share thoughts and prompts designed to help you question your beliefs, break free from limiting patterns, and see things in a new light. Because sometimes, all it takes is a new perspective to change everything.
“Change your perspective, change your life.” Yeah, it might sound cliché but only because it’s true.
How often do we get stuck overanalyzing everything, trying to control every outcome? We think that if we just plan enough, predict enough, or push hard enough, things will go exactly the way we want. But the more we try to control, the more we get trapped in our own thoughts. Suddenly, our perspective isn’t just clouded, it’s limiting.
We don’t always see things as they are; we see them as we expect them to be. And when reality doesn’t match our expectations, frustration, doubt, and stress creep in.
So here’s your challenge this week: What if you shifted your perspective?
What if the setback you’re facing is actually an opportunity? What if things not going as planned is exactly what needed to happen? What if you’re holding onto a version of events that’s keeping you stuck?
Sometimes the best thing you can do is step back, question your own thoughts, and look at things differently. That’s where growth happens. That’s where change begins.
