The Integrity in Practicing Spiritual Work

The Integrity in Practicing Spiritual Work

Walking with a spiritual gift is not about popularity.
It’s not a performance.
It’s a responsibility.

Whether you’re a tarot reader, a reiki master, a medium, or a channeler, this work comes with weight. And that weight is called integrity.

Why integrity matters in spiritual work

Since I started reading on Psychic platforms (and now 5 months later have quit), I’ve seen a lot of things that don’t sit right with my spirit.

There are people who don’t actually want guidance. They want permission.

Some come back again and again hoping I’ll say something different.

Some expect me to change the message just to make them feel better.

That’s not the kind of reader I am.

It hurts when people come to me and say, “Well, another reader told me this person loves me and is coming back.” Because I know that’s not what was shown to that reader. And it’s not what I’m picking up either.

When you do spiritual work, you have a responsibility to protect people’s hearts.

Not by sugarcoating. Not by guessing what they want to hear.

By telling the truth.

Most of the time, when someone comes to you, they’re in a vulnerable place.

Your job is to hold that with care, not perform for their comfort.

It matters that you say what you really see.

It matters that you stay aligned with Spirit, not ego.

If you have a gift and you know how to read energy, you have a higher responsibility. You are accountable to something beyond this world. You are being trusted to deliver a message clearly and honestly.

Free will, divine law, and spiritual truth

This part needs to be said over and over. If you are reading for someone about another person, free will is involved. That means the energy is not set in stone.

You can pick up what’s coming based on current energy.

You can see the likely direction something is moving in.

But people have the right to choose. People can change.

I always explain that what I’m picking up is true in this moment, but it’s not a fixed outcome. If the other person involved changes their mind, or if you shift something in yourself, the timeline or result may adjust.

That doesn’t mean everything will completely change. Most of the time, what I see still unfolds in some form, but there might be a twist, a delay, or things may move faster than expected.

That’s not a flaw in the reading. That’s just how free will and life work.

It’s why we have freedom of choice.

Part of being an honest intuitive is helping people understand that.

We aren’t here to predict every outcome.

We’re here to help people align their energy and move in the direction that’s meant for them.

We also help them navigate situations, understand what’s going on with others, and reflect on themselves.

A lot of people come wanting answers about everyone else, but part of being an honest intuitive is holding up a mirror.

This work is as much about self-awareness as it is about guidance.

What I will and won’t read

There are certain readings I just won’t do. Not because I can’t, but because I shouldn’t.

Infidelity is one of them. Especially when it involves marriage.

If someone is coming to me for confirmation that it’s okay to be involved with someone else’s spouse, I already know that we’re not aligned. I won’t support that spiritually.

Health questions? I don’t touch them. Yes, I might sense something. But I’m not a doctor. And I won’t ever pretend to be. Your health needs real attention, Go To The Doctor.

Legal questions? That gets tricky.

Sometimes Spirit will give me something, and I’ll pass it on.

But I won’t predict a verdict or tell someone how a court case will play out. That’s not my place.

If your question belongs in a courtroom or a doctor’s office, that’s where you need to go. Not because I don’t care, but because I do.

This gift has boundaries. Honoring those boundaries is part of integrity.

Client boundaries and expectations

Let me be real about something else.

Just like readers need to be held accountable, clients do too.

A reading is a spiritual connection. And if you come into it trying to control the outcome, that energy will show up fast.

You cannot use a reading to manipulate someone else’s free will.

You cannot use it to get someone to come back or do what you want them to do.

You cannot ask the same question over and over hoping for a different answer.

If you’re coming to me, I ask that you show up with an open heart and an open mind. That’s it.

I’m not God. I’m not a genie. I’m not here to give you everything you want.

I’m here to relay what Spirit shows me.

And if the energy feels off—if you’re aggressive, closed off, or trying to bait me into giving you a specific answer—I will end the session.

That’s not me being rude. That’s me protecting the spiritual space.

This is sacred work. I won’t allow it to be misused.

Obedience and spiritual pressure

It’s hard to walk in obedience when you’re on a platform that rewards performance.

Most psychic websites reward volume and customer satisfaction, not integrity.

If you tell someone something they don’t want to hear, you risk a bad review.

If you set a boundary, you might get flagged.

If you disconnect when the energy turns abusive, you could be penalized.

That’s why I have to keep my own integrity front and center.

No platform sets my standard. God does.

I don’t care if I lose a sale. I don’t care if I get a three-star review because I didn’t sugarcoat something.

If Spirit gave me a message, I will deliver it.

If it’s not what you wanted to hear, I will still speak it with love and care.

But I will not lie for a tip. I will not perform for approval.

That’s not obedience. That’s compromise. And I don’t move like that.

Timing is not control

One of the biggest misunderstandings I see in this work is about timing.

People want to know when. They want a date. They want a season.

And yes, sometimes God shows me timing clearly. But most of the time, timing is fluid.

It’s based on current energy.

It’s based on your alignment.

It’s based on divine order and personal choice.

If I tell you something is coming in a few months, that doesn’t mean your job is to wait around for it. Your job is to live. Your job is to ask, “What am I supposed to be doing in the meantime?”

That’s where the growth is.

That’s where the breakthrough is.

It’s not about waiting. It’s about aligning.

Feelings vs. action

Here’s something else a lot of people get confused about.

Just because someone has feelings for you doesn’t mean they’re going to act on them.

Just because someone misses you doesn’t mean they’re ready.

Just because there’s a connection doesn’t mean there’s commitment.

Energy is not action.

Love is not always enough.

Desire doesn’t always turn into movement.

I’m not going to tell you someone is coming back just because they feel something. That’s not integrity. That’s false hope. I won’t give it to you.

The truth about spiritual performance

Not everyone with a gift is aligned.

Not everyone with a platform is walking in light.

Not everyone with followers is doing real work.

You’ll know them by what they affirm.

If a reader hypes you up but never calls you to grow, that’s not guidance.

If a reader keeps you dependent, that’s not healing.

If a reader performs instead of prays, that’s not Spirit-led.

I’ve always had a complicated relationship with the money side of this work.

Yes, energy exchange matters. Yes, time matters.

But if your reason for doing this is just to make money, your gift is already compromised.

Because the moment you start chasing sales over truth, you start watering down what God gave you. You start giving people what they want instead of what they need. You stop being obedient.

At that point, it’s not a gift. It’s a hustle.

This is sacred work

If you want growth, I’ll walk with you.

If you want truth, I’ll speak it.

But I will not compromise my soul to feed your ego.

This work is sacred.

This gift is real.

And integrity is the only way I know how to use it.
